About Me
Welcome to my professional journey! I am Aaryaman Chandgothia, a mechanical engineer specializing in robotics and control, currently pursuing a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at Columbia University. My career has been defined by a passion for innovation and a drive to push the boundaries of what is possible in mechatronics, mechanical systems, and advanced robotics.
I’ve been fortunate to work on diverse, high-impact projects. Leading a team to develop an autonomous Mars rover with advanced navigation and terrain adaptability was a milestone in my journey, and so was my work on a quadruped robot optimized for efficient movement through advanced kinematics. My hands-on experience extends to assistive technologies as well, such as creating robotic solutions for postural control in patients with spinal cord injuries and cerebral palsy during my research at Columbia University.
In addition to my academic experience, I’ve interned as a hardware engineer at Sonoptic Systems, tuning laser drivers and developing timing generators for cutting-edge medical imaging devices. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I’ve maintained a focus on designing and building systems that not only solve complex engineering problems but also positively impact society.
I invite you to explore my portfolio, which showcases my dedication to engineering excellence and my ambition to create meaningful, lasting contributions in the fields of robotics and automation. Let’s build a future where technology empowers and transforms.
